Starting today, you can speak with a Librarian about any questions or issues you have during the interruption of our regular services.
From Monday to Friday, you can connect on our permanent Meet channel:
- Mornings, from 09:00 to 12:00
- Afternoons, from 13:30 to 16:30
You can also obviously still contact us via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, which we will answer during office hours.
So the Library is closed until further notice, and you still need to work on your thesis or courses. All is not lost, even if you did not borrow everything you needed before we closed.

To improve its environmental impact, the Library has now stopped distributing single-use plastic bags. If you didn’t bring your own, you can instead purchase a reusable bag – charcoal grey & featuring the Graduate Institute logo – for CHF 3.- at the loan desk.
The book for anyone who wants to learn as much as possible about the history of feminism in as short a time as possible. Presented as a graphic novel and spanning 150 years of recent history, Women in Battle celebrates the fight for women’s rights all over the world. Topics include the suffragette movement, female world leaders, abortion and contraception, gay marriage and #MeToo. It is the journey of our mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers to where we are today. Slowly but surely we are making progress. We need only dare to be heard.
